Terms of Use

The SnapTik is a free online tool that turns links to public TikTok posts into video, audio and image files you can save on your own device. It works in your browser. There is no account and no TikTok login.

The SnapTik is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to TikTok, ByteDance or any other website that uses the SnapTik name. TikTok is a trademark of its owner. All other names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what the tool works with.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for digital services in your country, to use The SnapTik. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

You are fully responsible for how you use files you download. You agree to:

• Only download content that you own, that is licensed to you, or that you're otherwise allowed to save under the law where you live.
• Not re-upload, sell or publish other people's videos, music or photos without permission from the rights holder.
• Respect TikTok's own terms and the rights of creators.

The SnapTik doesn't check the copyright status of any content and doesn't give permission to use anyone's work.

• Use the site for anything illegal or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Try to download private content, content you're not allowed to see, or get around any access restriction.
• Run scrapers, bots or automated scripts against the site, or get around rate limits.
• Try to hack, overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the service.
• Use the site to build a competing service or resell it.

We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

We don't host or index TikTok content. Files are fetched only when a user submits a link. Still, we respect copyright. If you own a work and want its link blocked from being processed by our tool, send a notice to contact@thesnaptik.app that includes:

• Your name and contact details.
• A description of the work you own.
• The exact TikTok URL(s) you want blocked.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by you, your agent or the law.
• A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We'll review valid notices and block the reported links where appropriate.

The website's design, text, logo and code belong to The SnapTik. You can link to our pages, but you can't copy the site or its content as a whole without our permission.

The site shows ads, including ads served by Google. We're not responsible for advertisers' products or for the content of third-party websites linked from our pages.

The SnapTik is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. TikTok changes how it delivers content often, so we can't promise that every link will work, that a given quality will be available, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The SnapTik and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or reputation, that result from using or not being able to use the site or any downloaded file. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

If you misuse the site or downloaded content and that leads to a claim against us (for example, a copyright claim over a video you re-uploaded), you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, as far as the law allows.

We may change, pause or stop any part of the service at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms.
