About The SnapTik
The SnapTik is a small, free website that does one job: it lets you save TikTok videos without the watermark, grab the sound as MP3, and keep photo slideshows, straight from your browser. No app to install, no account, no TikTok login.
Why we built it
TikTok's own Save video button works, but it stamps the logo and the username on top of the clip, and some creators turn saving off completely. That's annoying when you just want a clean copy of a recipe, a workout or a funny clip to watch on the plane.
So we made the simplest tool we could: copy the link, paste it here, pick the file. We try to keep the page fast on cheap phones and slow connections, and we keep the ads out of the way of the download button.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for your TikTok password, ever.
- We don't open private, friends-only or deleted videos. If you can't see it while logged out, we can't either.
- We don't keep a library of downloaded videos. Files are passed through to your device and that's it.
- We don't promise 4K or other numbers TikTok doesn't actually serve. You get what the creator uploaded.
Independent and honest about it
The SnapTik (thesnaptik.app) is run by The SnapTik Team. We are not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance, and we're not connected to other websites that use the SnapTik name.
Every video belongs to the person who made it. Save things for yourself, and ask the creator before you repost their work. Questions or bug reports: `contact@thesnaptik.app`.
